Profile

• How do I disable email notifications?

  From your profile you have an option Disable Notifications.

• What is discreet mode?
  

  Discreet mode allow only your favorites to see you media (pictures / videos).

• How do I put my profile as discreet?
  

  To change your profile to discreet mode, got to My profile and check Discreet.

• What is hotlist?
  

  Hotlist is a feature similar to a bookmark. When you browse on someone's profile that you are interest in, you can add him/her to your hotlist. Your hotlist will let you track and access them. When browsing the site you will see a next to the username of someone in your hot list. Note that a hotlist is not shared with others, the user you added on your hotlist won't be notified.

• What is friends?
  

  SexInYourCity allow you to have reciprocal friends. Contrary to hotlist, friends is mutual. To become friend with someone, you will need to send a request to this person. After approval you will see the personn in your friends list. Friends have always access to your profile, even when discreet.

• How can I add someone to my friend's list?
  

  When viewing someone's profile, you can request to become friend. It will send a request to the person. Once the request is accepted, you will see the person in you friends.

• What is Compatibility and Matchometer?
  

  The Matchometer will give you a pourcentage on how much you are compatible with the profile you are looking it. It is base on your own compatibility settings and on the person's.

• What does Sex Appeal means?
  

  Sex Appeal is a rating system. It's self expanatory, the hotter you are the best it is. Sex Appeal also affect your overall ranking (refer to ranking for more information).

• What is "The Wall"?
  

  The Wall is a space on every user's profile page that allows other user's to post messages for the user to see. Note at any time you can delete someone's post on your own wall. Simply click delete.

• Related Profiles
  

  Related profiles are profiles that are related to the one you are viewing.

Media

• What is verified picture?

  A verified picture, is a picture that was veirfied with a valid ID card. Verifying your photos gives other members peace of mind that your pictures are really you. All of your information will be kept confidential, and will not be shared with other members or outside parties.

• How do I change my profile picture?

  Go to your profile media and select Change profile picture. Click here to go to your profile media.

• I am not able to see any videos

  Make sure you have the latest Flash plugin. Download the latest Flash plugin here.

• How can I report a picture / video

  To report a media, you can either click on Report this profile in the user's profile or go to report abuse.

Search

• How do I find members in my city?

  When searching you can precise a city and a radius for your search. This will let you find any interested members that is located within the selected radius.

• How do I find specific user?

  You can search for a specific user using the User Search. In Search, click on User.

• How do I change my search settings?

  Your default search settings are configured from your profile. Changing your profile details (seeking, interested in) will change the default search settings.

• Who are the featured members?

  Featured members are members that submitted their profile to be featured on many pages. Featured members are exposed on many SexInYourCity.com pages and may become part of external website publicity. By enabling this options you will be featured for a period of 30 days, giving you the opportunity to have greater exposure.

• How can I become featured?

  Only upgraded members are elligible to become featured. If you are not an upgraded member, follow this link to upgrade. For upgraded members, follow this link to become featured.

• What can I do as a Free member?

  A free member can search / browse the site. A free member cannot write in member's wall, write comments, become featured or send personal messages.

• What can I do as a Upgraded Member?

  An upgraded member have full access on the site. He/She can send unlimited personal messages, post comments, write on member's wall, become featured and more...
